Fall 2026 Enrollment

For Men Who Know They Need More

Many Christian men are responsible, sincere, and busy. They work, provide, serve, and try to remain faithful. But beneath all of that, many of us know something is missing. We have conviction, but not always clarity of mind. Desire to achieve, but not discipline. Good intentions, but not a path of formation clear enough to follow for long.

The Guild exists for that man.

What we're lacking

Most men do not fail to grow because they lack a desire to do so. They fail because modern life is built to scatter our attention, thin out our conviction, and keep serious growth perpetually deferred. A man may wish to read deeply, think clearly, pray more steadily, and become more fitted for leadership, but he does not bind himself to a structure strong enough to carry him there.

The result is familiar: another day, week, month and year of desire to grow, but no movement.

"You made us for yourself, and our hearts find no peace until they rest in you."

In his Confessions, Augustine immediately gives language to a restlessness many men feel but cannot name. We are directional creatures, and for those in Christ, we are heading to a singular eternal destination. All of life then, is the road towards that destination. The Guild is built for men who want to channel that unrest into action with demanding books, serious discussion, and a disciplined course of study - no more letting it dissipate into a vague dissatisfaction and discontent.

What The Guild offers

The Guild is a three-year course of formation for Christian men - built around a classical curriculum, disciplined reading, written reflection, and local brotherhood. It is neither casual, nor merely academic. The aim is not to obtain information alone, but to be shaped and formed in the areas of wisdom, judgment, attention, speech, and character. This is accomplished through:

  • Deep reading of the great works of the Christian and classical tradition
  • A structured path that requires daily action
  • Discussion with other men pursuing the same end
  • A pattern of study that can be accomplished alongside ordinary responsibilities

Curriculum

Men in The Guild do not only hear about discipline, temptation, courage, worship, order, and the knowledge of God in the abstract. They encounter those realities in the great books themselves.

  • In Augustine, they meet the restlessness of the human heart.
  • In Homer, they see how temptation flatters and unmans the undisciplined soul.
  • In Athanasius, they confront the question of what man is for if he does not know his Maker.
  • In Dante, they see that purification is difficult, but full of hope.

Who This Is For

The Guild is for men who want serious formation and are willing to give themselves to it. It is for men who know that leadership, fatherhood, brotherhood, and Christian maturity require more than sincerity. It is not for the casually curious - it's for those prepared to be stretched.
